Meadville, PA (1996)

Client: Meadville Market Authority

The Meadville Market Authority operates a 100-year old market hall, located in the heart of a small town in Northwestern Pennsylvania. Public Market Collaborative proposed a redesign of the market interior, including new stall layout, lighting, relocation of the successful market restaurant, and new management practices. In addition, a series of recommendations was made for development and streetscape improvements around the market to make it a center of a revitalized Market Square. The Meadville Redevelopment Agency has acquired adjacent properties and is working to implement this strategic plan.
