Surprisingly, one of the most bustling destinations on Stockholm's waterfront is the City Hall.

What makes it Great?

Why it doesn't work?

Stockholm City Hall is proof that an iconic building doesnÍt have to mar public space. Located by one of the busiest sections of the cityÍs waterfront, its grassy plaza, courtyards and interior public spaces welcome all who set foot there. In fact, on a recent Sunday morning in August, it was the most bustling destination along the entire waterfront.
