Park \nURLS:\n
It is in the middle of an art decÕ_ neighborhood in Mexico City. Coffee shops, restaurants, and beautiful buildings surround it.
It is accessible mainly by foot, since it is a very walkable neighborhood. There is a small street that surround the park, which makes it very accessible in a car-driven city like Mexico City. The park has no barriers, nor any type of fance making it an open space for any purpose and any time.
It has benches, a library (Iëâve studied there, very peaceful), a small plaza, a lake with ducks, small rivers, and bridges connecting the pathways. There is a fair amount of security, nevertheless the people's presence is a key component for making it feel safe.
Its location makes it one of the most walked through spaces in the neighborhood. People use it for jogging, walking their dogs, taking their kids for bike rides. The park is mainly used by young people, it is not gender discriminatory. In terms of groups or individuals it varies, in weekdays where you find more individuals, and weekends more families.
Mexicans are very sociable, and this can be perceived quite easily in the park, where you encounter people constantly saying hello to each other. Recently there are more tourists than there used to be a few years ago, due to the neighborhood new trendy image.
