What makes it Great?

Why it doesn't work?

Forsyth is the crown jewel in a city of parks. Savannah is the largest historic district in the country, designed in a classic grid structure with 28 intersections replaced by city squares. Forsyth is the largest park, containing hundred-year-old live oaks covered in Spanish moss, a centerpiece fountain, and open spaces for cultural and recreational activities.

Access & Linkages

Forsyth is the location of a string of Spring and Fall festivals, concerts, athletics, and relaxing. The park lies in the heart of the historic district, surrounded by restored homes and accessible by foot from any direction.

Comfort & Image

It is visually stunning, with grand old trees and hundreds of blooming plants.

Uses & Activities

Forsyth is always brimming with activity and attracts people of all kinds, including residents and visitors. It is the location of many weddings and photo shoots.

Sociability

Forsyth resonates with old South classic charm and relaxing warm afternoons. Whether crammed with hundreds of event-goers or dotted with Sunday afternoon strollers, it is always welcoming.
