Dream Forest Park is renovated by Seoul Metropolitan Government in 2009,which was a family recreation ground, that we call 'The Dreamland' at once. It is one of the largest amusement park in Gangbuk(the north park of Seoul) \nURLS:\n

What makes it Great?

Why it doesn't work?

The total area of the park is 163 acre. The Park is surrounded by dense forest, Beokosan(mountain name), and it has a beautiful scenery with artificial lake, traditional pavilion and waterfall. You can enjoy every cultural facility like a concert hall, art gallery, restaurant and observatory using snow slope area.

Access & Linkages

The most important thing is easy accessibility. You can get the place by bus, subway, car, bike. Unique area is bikelane extanded far Hangang(river), Junglang- Cheon(stream), Wuo-Cheon(streamlet) Seoul Metropolitan Government have a plan to establish a new subway station in front of the park. It may give a convenience for every citizen and 'Jangwi New Town'(reconstruction site) will be completed in a few year.

Comfort & Image

The officails of City Hall and The Sejong Cultural Center run the park, so it provide low price and good lebel service. Many Seoul Citizens enjoy its event. When all is said and done, you can realize a careful regard for the challeged people, elderly, children, women. For example, women can get a parking lot very easily 80 parking lot for women's use out of total 402 spaces. Nursery room and center for missing children is available for every visitors. strollers and wheelchairs are free in visitor center. When you get a elevator for observation tower, many helper wait for the disabled and the elders. There are many good places to take a relaxation in touring the park. wood deck under tree, lawn, waterfall and ponds. Clean and neat toilet is ready for you.

Uses & Activities

Cultural exhibitions in concert hall or dream gallery offered for dwellers now and then. Many events and concerts will be held in Cultural Plaza, a space in front of Dream Forest Art Center. Jumping Fountain, Mirror Pond, ChildrenÍs unique playground are prepared for you. Sometimes visitors have a good chance to get interview in the park's open studio(TBS radio station). The interview screen is broadcasted lively. It also has a high-tech system, which provide ubiquitous, internet, e-mail. Do you know korean tradition? You can experience the life of our ancestors in Changnyeongwigung Ancestral Shrine (Registered Cultural Heritage No. 40), Wolgwangdae (Moonlight Podium), Seokgyo (Stone Bridge), and Aewoljeong (Moon Enchanted Pavilion).

Sociability

The users of the park are family, jogging people, walking people. The Park becomes a popular place in a year through a popular TV drama(IRIS) in abroad, so many foreigners visit recently. The park have many cherry and Maple tree. In spring the Dream Forest Park will be crowded with happy lovers and family.
