The Bricktown Entertainment District, OklahomaÍs most unique entertainment destination and neighborhood, is the vibrant home to many restaurants, nightclubs, sporting facilities, shops, attractions, condos, and a spectacular canal.
Located off of I-235 & Sheridan Ave., Bricktown is easily accessed and is in the heart of Downtown Oklahoma City. The Oklahoma Spirit Trolley System transports guests around Bricktown and Downtown Oklahoma City for just a quarter. In warm weather, the Pedicabs can be seen ferrying customers all over Bricktown, as well as several horse-drawn carriages.
Bricktown, as it now stands, was once a warehouse neighborhood that has been magnificently restored. It has enjoyed a physical revival and gained immense popularity since the early 1980s, becoming a hot spot, known for its diverse and often varied entertainment options. Whether you are enjoying a Redhawks baseball game at the AT&T Bricktown Ballpark, catching a movie at the Harkins Theatre, dining at restaurants and nightspots, there is always fun for the entire family.
Enjoy a mile-long pedestrian canal through Bricktown, turning south at the Ballpark, under the highway to a waterfall-and-forested park area. Water taxis cruise the waters, and there are many canal-side restaurants with more under construction. Also, nearby, are the Oklahoma City Memorial site and museum, the Myriad Botanical Gardens, Bass Pro Shop Outdoor World, trolley rides and the Oklahoma Museum of Art.
Bricktown has been a great addition to the Downtown area. Oklahoma City residents frequent restaurants, clubs and special events daily and Bricktown offers a safe environment for late nights and a wide variety of activities.
