What makes it Great?

Why it doesn't work?

Great meeting place in downtown Durham next to the Durham Bulls Athletic Park. Features include old warehouses, restauruants, water feature, old water tower and old smoke stack. Area was recently renovated.

Access & Linkages

It is a courtyard but it is accessible from the street and nearby baseball field. In the summer there are concerts on the lawn and many people spill out from the adjacent restaurants to the courtyard

Comfort & Image

Very beautiful. Water feature complements the historic buildings

Uses & Activities

Local business people working in buildings, people dining in adjacent restaurants and people coming over from baseball field.

Sociability

Durham's new gem! People love it!
