Rebecca Weiser

Rebecca supports the Director of Events with executing all of Project for Public Space's conferences, trainings, and webinars. She helps with fundraising for the conferences as well as  everything having to do with attendee registration, the scholarship application process, and other behind-the-scenes elements of event planning. Rebecca also supports the Manager of Operations & Finance with the day-to-day admin of our nonprofit.

Prior to joining Project for Public Spaces in 2018, Rebecca supported event logistics for the nationwide and historic March for Our Lives Rally with Everytown for Gun Safety. Her interest in public spaces began while studying sociology, with a focus on gentrification, at NYU.

Favorite Public Space

"Some of my favorite public spaces are thecommunity gardens dotted around Alphabet City in Manhattan. They're the perfect place to grab a book and coffee and escape the hustle and bustle of the city."
