Whether their goals are to support healthy equity, fight social isolation, or advance sustainability and resilience, more and more companies are turning to improving public space as a way to have a positive impact in the places where they work.

But why does public space have the potential to affect so many different outcomes? What do successful social impact partnerships look like in public space? And how can social impact partners navigate the many complexities and uncertainties of working in the built environment?

To mark the opening of our current Community Placemaking Grants call for proposals, Project for Public Spaces convened a panel of new and longtime funding partners, local public space stewards, and experts in the field of corporate social responsibility to answer these questions and more.

Join us to learn more about how and why companies, foundations, and philanthropists are turning to public space to achieve their social impact goals and gain insights from all sides of the partnership—funders, grantees, and technical experts.
