NYC Places

Most of us here at PPS live, work and play in New York City.  Here are a few tidbits from our corner of the world!

  • Art in Odd Places, an annual event dedicated to exploring the city's public spaces using performance and installation art, will take place in October.  This year's location -- 14th Street -- represents the city's "Great Divide."
  • The dangerous, confusing and inefficient Astor Place will finally be redesigned!  The plans call for more pedestrian space.
  • As summer heats up in NYC, residents have been taking to the street, holding dinner parties outdoors in public spaces -- street corners, the Brooklyn Bridge, etc.
