Phil Myrick, PPS Vice President, will facilitate the placemaking workshop.
Park Pride is a non-profit organization based in Atlanta, GA that leads and inspires action for parks and greenspace. It has scheduled a half-day placemaking workshop as part of the 7th Annual Parks and Greenspace Conference: A Vision for Sustainability.
The seminar aims to foster a deep understanding of what makes public spaces function, as well as insight into PPS' research and experience. Participants will work in small teams to observe and analyze one City of Atlanta park that illustrates pertinent design issues, gives insights, and encourages them to see the sites from a user's point of view.
Space is limited to 35 participants!
Cost: $65
