Nathan Storring

Communications Manager

As part of the Bass Initiative, Nathan conducts research and writes articles and reports on the connections between innovation, public space, and placemaking. He is also a core member of PPS’s communications team, a regular contributor to the PPS blog and newsletter, and the program coordinator for PPS’s conference team, which launched the first Placemaking Week in Vancouver, 2016.

Nathan has extensive experience interpreting complex urban issues for the general public through writing, exhibitions, events, and multimedia projects. In 2016, he co-edited Vital Little Plans, a career-spanning collection of short writings by Jane Jacobs, one of the twentieth century’s greatest urban thinkers, and a pioneer of the placemaking movement.
