Shaylee Zaugg

Project Manager, Education
szaugg@pps.org

Shaylee joined Project for Public Spaces in November 2018 as Junior Project Associate. She comes to the organization with over three years of nonprofit experience, as well as a varied background in urban studies, biology, and anthropology. Through this mixture of academic experience, Shaylee was continuously exploring the ways in which our natural and built surroundings directly and indirectly impact community development and individual wellbeing.

It was during course work, community projects, and the experience of living and traveling car-free in London for graduate school that Shaylee also developed an interest in the intersection between safe and equitable urban mobility and public health. With the accumulation of these interests and experiences, Shaylee is very enthusiastic to be working on Project for Public Spaces’ Transportation Program and supporting the Healthy Places Program.
