Ken is an urban planner with a background in New Urbanism. He joined PPS in 2008 and has specialized in mixed-use waterfront revitalization projects in New York City. His work has included on-site observation and research for Gantry Waterfront Park in Queens and program development for a waterfront revitalization project on the Hudson River. He is also heavily involved in writing for the newsletter, proposals, and project reports.

Prior to joining PPS, Ken worked in real -estate development, architecture, and planning. He has facilitated numerous planning workshops including the visioning charrette and writing of the Imagine Downtown master plan for Colorado Springs. He also co-wrote a form-based code for that city’s downtown.
