Registration

Tour price is $1,839 for a shared room. This price does not include the optional cost of airfare, which is $650 from New York. A limited number of single rooms are available at an extra cost of $450. These are reserved in order of receipt of application. Neither a single room nor a roommate can be guaranteed. If a suitable roommate cannot be found, the single supplement will be charged.

To reserve your place on this tour, please complete the online registration form and include your deposit of $500 per person. Space is limited to 24 members of PPS (membership is given to you free of charge on registration), so those who wish to attend are encouraged to submit their registration as early as possible to ensure placement. The balance of the cost for this trip is due May 31st.

Program specifics

The tour is managed by a professional tour operator. Participants wishing to take the flight from New York will convene in the city for the flight to Prague.

Included in the program price
Hotel accommodations with breakfast daily (excluding day of arrival), five lunches and five dinners, transfers by modern air-conditioned motorcoach, handling of one checked bag at hotel, site admission fees, educational materials. Also included in the price is the expertise of Project for Public Spaces and their Czech partners, local guides, and a professional, English speaking expedition manager.

Not included in the program price
Passport and visa fees, if required. (No visa is required for U.S. citizens to visit the Czech Republic. Visas may be required for citizens of other countries.) Single supplement, if a roommate is not available. Tips to tour guides and drivers. Personal items such as alcoholic beverages, laundry, phone calls. Expenses incurred in making individual travel arrangements. Other items not specifically mentioned as included.

Health and Comfort
In order to take part in this program, participants should be reasonably fit and in good health. We strongly recommend that you get travel insurance covering medical, personal accident and repatriation in the event of illness.

Eligibility
The tour is a benefit of PPS membership. If you are not already a member, you will be automatically signed up when you register for the tour (free of charge).

Cancellations and refunds
Should you be forced to cancel your participation on this program, penalties apply. The amount of your refund depends upon the date written cancellation is received by Project for Public Spaces.

Land Refunds
Enrollment to 61 days before departure: full refund less $100 processing fee
60-45 days before departure: refund of 50% of land cost
44-31 days before departure: refund of 25% of land cost
30 days or less before departure: No refund

No refunds may be made on any unused portion of the tour.

Air Refunds
Once they are issued, airline tickets are non-refundable.

A note about cost and itinerary changes
The price is based on current currency values and assumes a minimum of 15 participants. While we will do everything possible to maintain the listed price, it is subject to change. We reserve the right to levy a surcharge if the final enrollment does not reach the minimum number. While every effort will be made to carry out the program as described, unforeseen events may require modification of the itinerary at the discretion of Project for Public Spaces. The right is reserved to make such changes without allowance or refund.

Responsibility
Project for Public Spaces are responsible only for assisting in making arrangements for travel, services and accommodations during the scheduled tour and do not represent or act as agents for carriers, hotels and other suppliers of services connected with this tour. Project for Public Spaces assume no responsibility or liability for injury (whether or not resulting in death), damage, loss, accident, delay or other irregularity caused by, or due to the negligence of any company or person engaged in carrying out or performing services. In addition, no liability is accepted for additional expenses, losses, delay, injury, death, or damage to property arising out of sickness, weather, acts of war, strikes, revolt, insurrection, military action, acts of violence, changes in air or other services, refusals to issue visas, or other causes beyond our control, whether occurring in the country of origin, destination, or through passage for the services provided. All services and accommodations are subject to the laws of the country in which they are rendered. Project for Public Spaces reserve the right to withdraw and/or cancel this tour should, in their sole judgement, conditions warrant. Should this occur, the liability of Project for Public Spaces shall be limited to the full refund of monies paid to us by the participant. The right is also reserved to decline to accept any person for any reason, at our sole discretion, or to remove from the program any person for reasons of health, safety and/or general welfare of the tour group, or of the individual participant. Baggage and personal property are carried at the owner's risk entirely.

Insurance
We strongly suggest that you purchase travel insurance that includes protection for trip cancellation or interruption, accidents, emergencies or sickness. Insurance information and application will be sent to you with your enrollment confirmation.
