For our inaugural installment, we're singling out the intersection of Queens Boulevard and 71st Avenue in the borough of Queens, New York. In 2003, five pedestrians were killed on Queens Boulevard, and 85 have been killed since 1993. What sets this intersection apart is the ghastly signage New York City DOT has installed.
