Great guide. Don't forget that Bixby Knolls is also a Bike-Friendly Business District! From downtown, take your bike onto the Blue Line and exit at Wardlow. Ride east. Most businesses are on Atlantic all the way north to San Antonio. The California Heights neighborhood is lovely (Olive Ave., etc.). Lots of great food in Bixby Knolls, from The Factory to Blackbird Cafe and more. Great shops for all ages. Check out the BKBIA's cargo bike, which is used for district maintenance, like graffiti removal. More info on the district here: http://bixbyknollsinfo.com/bike.html.
