Occidental Square

Gyumri Public Square

Campus Martius

Detroit, MI (1999-2001). PPS began working with the City of Detroit to reclaim a concrete island that was the historical heart of downtown. The new Campus Martius opened in November 2004. It was an immediate home run with the people of Detroit and surrounding communities.

Clinton Square

Syracuse, NY (1999-2000). PPS worked with the City of Syracuse to develop a plan to bring vitality back to downtown Syracuse. The opening of Clinton Square in September 2001 was met with rave reviews and the square is currently a spectacular civic plaza for festivals, farmers' markets, concerts and ice skating.

Rockefeller Center

New York, NY (1975-1990). Beginning in 1975, PPS worked on a wide variety of projects in Rockefeller Center. These projects focused on finding ways to reduce congestion and maintain the holiday atmosphere; demonstrating how simple improvements to a public space could dramatically change the space; and design and management improvements to the center's Exxon Mini-park.
