My idea to improve this place

Renovate the abandon buildings into affordable urban apartments, retail outlets, and restaurants. Provide more canopies and awnings with misters to give a more refreshing atmosphere. More vegetation,

So that people could... 

enjoy the atmosphere of downtown and not avoid it like the plague.

Because I want San Antonio to be...

an enjoyable, modern, clean environment. I want to be proud of my city and not embarrassed by it.

Add digital parking space signs counting system on DT public parking garages to help facilitate parking. I believe the city is working on implementing the idea during the fall.

to give tax abatements to any downtown area with a yard or a rooftop soley used for community gardening. Thus, at least once a week, once the garden is pregnant, there will be a local farmers market.
