My idea to improve this place

Turn the Institute of Texan Cultures into a centerpiece for Hemisfair the way the Met is for Central Park. Build a more attractive building that opens up right onto Durango.

So that people could... 

actually see the musem and walk right up to it while they're strolling down Durango.

Because I want San Antonio to be...

a place for learning and culture.

Agree - expand and turn it into a huge modern art facility as part of Blue Star maybe.

Charge less for parking. 10 to 20 dollars for Fiesta is INSANE! It is even more by the Rivercenter Mall. Local people avoid downtown because they do not want to pay for parking.

Build an outdoor pedestrian / bike-in movie theatre somewhere in an empty lot in downtown that shows current release films. Of course you would have to have food available.
