My idea to improve this place

Take over abandoned properties in these older neighborhoods, tear down the failing structures and create pocket parks!

So that people could... 

Have pride in their neighborhoods, give people a place to be and run out slumlords.

Because I want San Antonio to be...

better.

With its unique traffic islands, small urban scale, and walkability, kid friendly 1940’s Terrell Heights community bordering the McNay Museum can become a distinctive neighborhood city art district., 0.72 Kms

This road used to be the highway to Austin back in the 60s until IH35 bipassed. Its is a 4 lane + wide shoulders road of asphalt. Change medians/shoulders into landscaped/shaded walking spaces.

Create a dog park in the back half of this small park. There is a large tree that could provide shade; all that would be necessary is pine mulch, fencing, and plumbing for water fountains.
