My idea to improve this place

Liriope and monkey grass, once established, need little watering and withstand extreme cold and heat. Maybe a community planting day would work to start up a greening-up day.

So that people could... 

see more beauty and less ugliness in our surroundings. Even tiny green spaces make giant improvements in beautification. We must overcome the extreme heat that radiates up to make our city desirable for all of us to walk through and around.

Because I want San Antonio to be...

as beautiful as it can be and as cooled down as we can make it without much expense.

A grocery store, for convenience & because it's become a marker for how liveable downtown really is. S. Flores' commercial corridor is a good place with good bus service.
