all of downtown, but especially the sidewalks at bus stops in front of the Mercado. Even the sidewalks leading to Bohanans are filthy with gum spots and debris.

My idea to improve this place

DIRTY CORNERS that remind me of REAL Mexico where the walks never get cleaned. Especially disgusting are the dark chewing gum spots all over the walks. They unappealing for both tourists AND locals.

So that people could... 

think of San Antonio as a destination for MORE than a single visit. I NEVER want to return to dirty places. When our bread and butter IS TOURISM, we MUST be concerned with details!!!

Because I want San Antonio to be...

as clean and attractive as old town Quebec City,etc. We need to EDUCATE our population about GUM damage; something sooooo small really adds up. We need REPEAT customers for the good of our economy!!!

"REAL Mexico" sounds factural yet insulting to a whole country which regularly send mexicans here and have allowed San Antonio to keep out of the economic downturn by spending on everything from houses to t-shirts. Narratives should be a bit more political.

This idea could have left out the countries names because it makes this sound like REAL Sterotyping. Mexico dirty, Canada clean. Im sure both countries have their share of both.

Turn El Mercado into thriving public market for fair trade goods & heirloom foods of "the Americas" bring back the chili queens, but healthy.
