My idea to improve this place
This is an empty lot that could be put to used by turning it into a community garden, specially now that kids are out of school. But people involved can be of any age, physical work is minimal.
So that people could...
Participate in an activity that will reduce stress levels, teach them about nature. Also fruits and vegetables can either be consumed by the participants or be donated to a non-profit organization; thereby expanding the network of people involved.
Because I want San Antonio to be...
A city that cares about its citizens, as well as a city in which its citizens care about its surroundings. I want San Antonians to be more conscientious about what they eat, about sharing, about learning from nature even in an urban environment.

Bring back in modern form the historic Bat Roosts that I remember seeing in the Olmos Basin when I was a kid. Dr. Campbell's bat roosts could be restored in open spaces across SA.

Add a disc golf course to unused parts of the park. This is a low cost option. Disc Golf is hugely popular and San Antonio lacks a championship caliber course
