My idea to improve this place

Every four lane street or highway should have a sidewalk. The city should allow companies to donate for construction, then put logos in sidewalks for permanent reminders of their gifts.

So that people could... 

Beyond that, VIA tax should be used to help their customers walk to and from bus (instead of building stadiums); and sidewalks should be mandatory with any development.

Because I want San Antonio to be...

Accessible, and fit. If you can bus to it, you should be able to walk from it. (It is heartbreaking to see man on Evers walking child along curb and woman pushing stroller through mud in front of John Williams Interiors, etc. etc.)

There are long, ample medians with recent lighting added. We can reclaim these spaces for bike paths, playgrounds, half-courts exercise spots, and adding fences or natural barriers to the street.

Could we have a dog park near the Medical Center, perhaps somewhere inside the walking trail that the San Antonio Medical Foundation installed a few years ago.
