My idea to improve this place

Under the trees and around benches I would suggest putting checkers and domino tables so that seniors can come and play. Also gardening beds and have kids at school provide the maintenance

So that people could... 

I am thinking that seniors can come and play the table games in a safe place under trees and with garden beds around them, they can be encouraged to pick the veggies and get some exercise that way.

Because I want San Antonio to be...

A city that is known for building community in various places that encourage people to be engaged, active and immersed in life.

narrow the lanes so there is AT LEAST a couple feet on either side for people to walk across the bridge. It gets a lot of foot traffic, at least one motorized wheel chair and countless bicyclists

my bars and cafes and simple restaurants. No concept places!! for some reason, anytime someone is SA wants to start a restaurant they try to make it look like Dorsia from American Psycho. Simple!!
