My idea to improve this place

Convert the steep, sloping banks of drainage areas into TERRACES to plant functional food gardens (MiLPAS) aesthetic green spaces by incorporating ancient techniques of the ancient Maya/Inca

So that people could... 

To learn historical concepts of farming in which crops are nutrionally & environmentally complementary when planted in the terrace format. Use as a teaching tool for the three schools in the area as well as the community: Tie into our cultural heritage especially in regards to the children and young adults.

Because I want San Antonio to be...

Culturally and historically informed and eco-friendly.

Create a culture canopy over the parking lot next to the Guadalupe Center. Under the canopy there would be plants/ benches and places for neighbors to enjoy the shade and the programs of the GCAC.

Put an actual square/plaza in Cattleman's Square. It'll make a great public space infront of VIA's multimodal center and help make the line more attractive to riders.
