Make this a mini riverwalk. It has important historical and cultural significance and shouldn't be treated as a gutter.

So that people could... 

Explore the heritage and history of the original west side of San Antonio.

Because I want San Antonio to be...

Build shade structures and add picnic areas for the lunchtime crowd. Some of the more upscale food vendors/cars would be most welcome.

Green lot near Nueva and Flores, 0.06 Kms

Relocate this facility out of the downtown area.It is a tourist stopper and disrespectful reminder of how the Hispanic areas of town were bulldozed for city, county and federal buildings. Make a park.

Prison on Laredo and Dolorosa streets, 0.06 Kms

Close down what is left of Laredo street and make it a pedestrian walkway/park that tells the story of the Laredo Highway that Laredo Street was before IH35.

Corner of Laredo and Nueva, 0.07 Kms

I believe that a grocery store would be an extremely invaluable addition to the downtown area. I don’t see how downtown can grow as a community without access to a basic ammenity such as this.
