My idea to improve this place

Use the lot to create a park with walking paths using decomposed granite, a huge fountain in the center made of cantera stone and an outdoor cafe.

So that people could... 

walk and enjoy a family friendly envioronment with easy access to transportation as an escape from the hospital environment. Allow people to feel welcome and comfortable by adding seating, new landscaping, activities, an outdoor cafe, & public art. This should mirror Milam Park on a much smaller scale.

Known as a leader in city planning & greenspace usage and promotion.

Could we have a dog park near the Medical Center, perhaps somewhere inside the walking trail that the San Antonio Medical Foundation installed a few years ago.

Weekly or seasonal food truck gathering at the parking lot on Medical Dr near Von Schelle Dr. The lot is not joined to any bldgs and is vacant. It was built for employees to use during construction.
