On weekends, allow artists a spot outside a business location to showcase (demo) their craft!

My idea to improve this place

People love to sight see while going to shop or eat. I know you have vendors but why not have dancing or drumming to attract additional attention to passer buyers!

So that people could... 

That way customers can be inspired by dance/drum and they could move around and jiggle a little bit at no cost to them.

Because I want San Antonio to be...

Downtown should be livelier with entertainment from small vendors or artists who can manage their gear easily instead of a large group with heavy equipment. Easy transport is important and keeping cost low.

Reverse the course that the repaving of Houston St. has done. Open it up again to allow for more lanes rather than one in both directions. Increasing the ease of access to downtown is vital to rebirth

First, praise for the curb indentation that allows quickie parking for buying tickets. We need to maximize sitting opportunities, benches and art/boxes along sidewalks all over downtown.
