My idea to improve this place

easy access - make walk paths, bike paths to make it easy to get downtown. Also, create a train station dwntwn that has trains to/fro san marcos, austin, new bran etc. Make SA a hub!

So that people could... 

If people have easy access to this - they will come! Its hard to even take a nice run or a walk downtown. If we make it easy for them and have an enjoyable setting with sidewalk cafes and parks - they will come!

Because I want San Antonio to be...

thriving! we want people to come here. we've got everything we need - good weather, good food, friendly locals - now we just need find a way for them to get here - whether they live in SA or Austin or any other neighboring towns.

To be a mix of high rise, mid rise, low rise, and parks throughout the city with good architecture(i.e. a mixture of old Mediterranean and unique, modern styles). Include 24/7 activity for all ages.

Allow some color! Every building downtown is brown or tan. That is a reflection of a dull city. Destroy old buildings and create new modern and a lively structure with glass, steal, or even wood

No more flat parking lots, They're an eyesore and they radiate too much heat. Use solar paneling to maximize energy efficiently. Do something about the unsavory element at night. More police @ night.

Do something to control the amount of homeless people and travelers hanging out in parks and other areas. It makes me scared to be in some areas of downtown.
