Housing. Downtown needs a larger resident population before anyone is going to build a market, locate an urban office or come downtown to shop.
So that people could...
Live in downtown. Play in downtown. Work in downtown and walk.
Because I want San Antonio to be...
Walkable. Until Downtown SA decides that pedestrians are more imprtant that cars, our downtown will always be a touristy downtown, not a real downtown that caters to residents. Incentives for urban housing over 4 stories high. (flickr photo by Ed Yourdon )
