all downtown streets and surrounding highways

My idea to improve this place

street cleaning and maintenance on downtown and surrounding city streets should be done mainly at night when there is less vehicle and pedestrian traffic.

So that people could... 

Enjoy downtown and the city streets without the added stress of construction crews, or street sweepers, or other maintenance crews working on our downtown and city streets in the middle of the day on busy afternoons when everyone is trying to go home or to work. This just causes more traffic and headaches for people.

Because I want San Antonio to be...

More efficient, more practical. Construction, cleaning, and maintenance crews should mainly work nights or evenings when there is less traffic and not in the middle of the weekday afternoons. (flickr photo by Jaysun)

For every new hotel room built downtown we should built 2 residential units. Downtown risks becoming an irrelevent tourist playground rather than a vibrant city core with residents.

Re-do E. Travis Street (214 E. Travis) sidewalks with funky tile, new trees, installing neon lighting art pieces, bicycle racks, surveillance cameras and lighting.
