My idea to improve this place

Create a downtown transit center or plaza and improve the remaining downtown bus stops. Add rail transit options. Make downtown pedestrian oriented; eliminate auto-centric/reduce design speeds.

So that people could... 

people could easily move around downtown by walking, biking, and transit without autos having the dominant mobility.

Because I want San Antonio to be...

a people place.

provide adequate sidewalk space for bus patrons and pedestrians. the infrastructure shouldn't make you feel like a second class citizen if these are your modes of transport (choosen or not).
