Bridge across San Antonio River on Roosevelt Ave S

My idea to improve this place

narrow the lanes so there is AT LEAST a couple feet on either side for people to walk across the bridge. It gets a lot of foot traffic, at least one motorized wheel chair and countless bicyclists

So that people could... 

get across the bridge without fearing for their lives each time. Motorists are easily doing over 40 mph at that location most times

Brackenridge Park .. Mission soccer fields or any city park fields., 0.57 Kms

Under the trees and around benches I would suggest putting checkers and domino tables so that seniors can come and play. Also gardening beds and have kids at school provide the maintenance
