My idea to improve this place

Affordable housing for young adults. I would love to live downtown but currently feel the cost of buying a home/condo is very expensive.

to give tax abatements to any downtown area with a yard or a rooftop soley used for community gardening. Thus, at least once a week, once the garden is pregnant, there will be a local farmers market.

Don't approve anymore new hotels downtown until there is a significant jump in the amount of people that live downtown.

For every new hotel room built downtown we should built 2 residential units. Downtown risks becoming an irrelevent tourist playground rather than a vibrant city core with residents.

More citizens living and working downtown, 0.06 Kms

Bring life to Travis Park by filling it with public art, a more vibrant variety of landscaping, and approved vendors (flowers, snowcones, musicians, etc.). Also maybe clean up bus stop on park corner.
