My idea to improve this place
A grocery store, for convenience & because it's become a marker for how liveable downtown really is. S. Flores' commercial corridor is a good place with good bus service.
So that people could...
Walk or take a bus a short distance to a reasonably comprehensive grocery store, be it Trader Joe's (a fun place to shop as many of us downtown residents know from having visited family and friends on the West Coast) or HEB.

I've been thinking this for a year now. TJ's or CM down flores st. Already seeing residential growth there and good access from highways. People will come downtown to shop if its a "cool" shopping experience
