Along Durango between IH-35 and IH-37

My idea to improve this place

Develop a more pedestrian friendly parkway along Durango. Include angled parking, landscaping, and a paved path for bikers and walkers.

So that people could... 

Feel safer walking along Durango and draw people into the southtown area from central downtown, creating a gateway between the two places.

Hopefully, once they begin work on the Hemisfair Park Master Plan and add the streetcar line to that area it will pave the way for a more pedestrian friendly environment in an area that is dominated by cars.
