My idea to improve this place
Capitalize on current potential and historical significance by showcasing current artists and shops better, while adding complementary uses. Streamline hours of operation and events/education.
So that people could...
better understand the history and significance, while being able to access La Villita more consistently. Also, they could enjoy the artists, education opportunities, and the space in general, on a daily basis for a variety of uses (shopping, classes, eating, art shows, drinks).
Because I want San Antonio to be...
an inviting and enjoyable preservation of our history and culture.

The worst thing about coming downtown is that there is not enough free/inexpensive parking and meter maids are always on the prowl. Figure how to provide better/cheaper parking.

Provide some safe, welcoming parking options near La Villita and HemisFair Park. Both are gems in our city that are underutilized because SA residents cannot easily access them.

Repair/replace sidewalks adjacent to La Villita, St. John's Church, numerous bed and breakfasts, south to Cesar Chavez Blvd (formerly Durango).
