Reinventing Older Communities is a biannual conference that has become a major meeting ground for policymakers, community developers, lenders, funders, planners, and government representatives who want to learn from leading practitioners and researchers around the country.
Noted researchers will present six academic research sessions on how place matters for older communities. The latest research on the impact of place will be discussed on education, crime, health, opportunities for neighborhood revitalization, and other critical urban issues. The sessions have been designed by the University of Pennsylvania’s Institute for Urban Research, which will publish a book based on the presentations.
