Katie Salay joined PPS in 2000 originally as the front desk manager, and after one year began working in the development department. Since then she has worked on a wide variety of projects, and is now a member of PPS’s communications team. In addition to writing and submitting proposals, Katie also manages PPS’s five listservs, and maintains PPS’s portfolio of project experience. She also manages and updates much of the content on the various PPS websites, including Great Public Spaces and Context Sensitive Solutions. Katie has also been involved in a number of research projects, and has facilitated Placemaking workshops.

Prior to working at PPS, Katie worked at Neighborhood Housing Services, as well as the Metropolitan Museum of Art, as a security guard and in the membership office.
