Who We Are
Craig Raphael
Associate, Training and Communications
Craig Raphael joined PPS as an intern in transportation in early 2008, where he worked on major PPS projects in Yonkers, NY and Stamford, CT. As the Communications and Training Associate, he is responsible for PPS training programs and speaking engagements, as well as general communications strategy and website updates. He also manages the PPS press lists and publications, as well as writes PPS’s press releases.
Previously, Craig conducted project research for NYC’s Department of City Planning and Transportation Alternatives. He also spent time studying in Switzerland, where he wrote and edited material for the International Labour Organization’s youth newsletter.
His interests include public transportation, expansion of US rail service, bicycle advocacy, and baking.
