Andres Ramirez

Associate

Andres Ramirez joined PPS in after completing his degree in Sociology and Urban Design at New York University. He has organized and conducted research initiatives in New York and Berlin on issues of public memory and the urban environment. While at PPS he has carried out focused research for international projects in Downtown Dubai; Guadalajara, Mexico; and Calgary, Canada. His knowledge in methodology and on-site research operations have made him instrumental for research-based, local projects in the Bronx, East Williamsburg, and Bushwick, New York. He has worked closely with Hispanic communities and is committed to further developing PPS leadership in Latin America. Previous experience includes extensive surveying of Central American voting patterns for Southern New Hampshire University in 2005-2006. Andres has also been building a comprehensive database and information-management system for PPS, and is responsible for training junior research interns.
