The arrangement, style, and location of seating will determine how or whether it will be used. In general, wooden benches are more comfortable than metal ones, which are cold in winter and hot in summer. Providing small tables as well will enable people to eat their lunch and socialize with friends and colleagues.
Planters, Tree Grates and Landscaping
Landscaping can soften the edges of a building and provide a connection between the federal property and the sidewalk. Planters can serve double duty as seating and as protective bollards. Decorative tree grates protect sensitive tree roots beautifully.
