Short description:
Bollards offer a more flexible, decorative and less intrusive security alternative to the Jersey Barrier. Pedestrians can move through them freely and do not have to alter their route or climb over them. They also provide a way to delineate the public zone from the semi-private zone. When placed along the edge of a sidewalk, bollards can serve to protect pedestrians from moving automobiles.
