Why It Works
Fabulous community with dedicated volunteers. There is a pizza and bread-making oven, theatre, ice rink, playground, wading pool, baseball diamond, basketball court, chess, checkers, gardens, crafts for kids, card playing for older visitors, drop in centre activities... and best of all, beautiful and abundant old shady trees.
What Makes Dufferin Grove Park a Great Place?

History & Background
Neighbors came together to help the city manage the park when they found out that Toronto's Parks Department had allotted no money for its upkeep. Find out more on the Friends of Dufferin Grove website, listed below.
