PARK TOURS AND SITE VISITS

New York City is home to a staggering variety of parks that boast unique landscapes, innovative partnerships and management structures, and outstanding programming. In addition to a wide range of Central Park offerings, the conference will host park tours throughout the city, including visits to a reclaimed Bronx River, an unsanctioned neighborhood park in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, and a flying trapeze school on the Hudson waterfront.

There will be two rounds of tours: one on Saturday, June 21 and one on Sunday, June 22. In addition, there will be early-bird tours held the mornings of Monday, June 23 and Tuesday, June 24, and the conference will wrap up with tours of the World Trade Center Site and Lower Manhattan the afternoon of Wednesday, June 25.

As tours are developed, more information will be available on the web site. Tours may be changed or added prior to the conference depending on timing, weather and schedules. Tours will run rain or shine, and lunch will be provided for all tours. Click on the links below to read details about each tour.

In order to cover costs, the Saturday and Sunday tours will cost $25 each.
