My favorite place is the Thayer Inn. I have stayed there often over the past four years, and feel like it is a second home. The people there are very much representative of the community...they are great.

My favorite place is the river. Whenever I'm feeling down, or want to get out of the house I go to the river. Its got that nice calming feel to it. It would be nice if we made it a little more accessable so that more people could enjoy it.

I thought the diner was great, but I admit I was only in Littleton for an hour. I was very pleased that the diner was open at six in the morning.

I want to follow up on Athena's comment regarding the river. It's such a tremendous resource. My wife and I have a "second home" up on Mann's Hill, and we've been "living - somewhat" in Littleton for the past sixteen years. We love the area, and the Town of Littleton - nice, friendly people, beautiful downtown, very affordable shopping opportunities, etc. But the river is our special place. We would love to see a continuation of the riverfront area along the railroad that parallels the river to the north and south - perhaps a "Rails to Trails" type project. Is there any interest in Town for this, and how can we get involved? This is a terrific project - LittletonPlaces - and we're very excited to be associated with it!! Littleton is a model of one community that is keeping close tabs on the "urban sprawl" that is eroding so many communities to the south. Keep up the great work! Best wishes, Sharon and Bob Seaman

It's a great view of the Littleton from Kilburn Crags, not to mention the sweep of mountain ranges from the Presidentials to Lafayette in the background. Great bang for the .7 mile hike for the views and picnic table accomodations. I won't put the directions here so you will have to ask some local folks and get to hear the venacular and keep it special. Climbed Mt. Washington, my first mountain in 1972. Pedaled my bike up and down the autoroad in 1974, and have been back to climb and bike in the area ever since. Keep and treat the North country as a gem. It's precious

I really like the Admac area. What a great little secret. Seems like that could be a really vibrant area with the river there and the cool old foot bridge. I'd love to see a nice park type area with access to the water and some cool shops etc.

My Great Grandmother was born on the bank of the Ammonoosuc River. It sure means alot to me and what made me think to bring the Native American Weekend to Littleton while I was there. But my favorite place which is too often over looked is the Opera House. I have traveled across the USA several times and that Opera House is better than many we have been in. It is sad that it's stages are so quiet. It would bring even more people to Main Street if it were once again a working facility....
