Borings on Main Street

Test drilling on Main Street, which was announced last month, has been slated for Monday, November 8. Three locations have been identified for testing. They are:
The south side of the street, from Chutters’ to Topic of the Town
The north side of the street, in front of Parker’s Marketplace
The south side of the street, just west of Church Street
The actual drilling will start at around 10:00 am at the easternmost location (Chutters’/Topic), moving west from there. Each site will take about 2 hours to complete.
Beginning at 8:00 am, parking will be blocked off on both sides of the street in affected areas in order to maintain two-way traffic. Parking will be permitted as soon as possible after each test site is finished.
Please plan to park in area parking lots on Monday, and encourage employees and regular visitors to do the same.
