Places: West Street—Five Segments

West Street can be considered in five distinct segments, each differing in character and uses. For instance, West Street along Hudson River Park is quite different from the stretch between the World Financial center and the WTC site - or, for that matter, its terminus at Battery Place, where one finds the tunnel entrance, Historic Battery Park and several cultural institutions. Imagine yourself taking a stroll down the street through these areas, and let us know how you envision a new West Street. (To give input on general proposals for West Street, click here.)
